According to iiMedia Research, most industries have been impacted by the epidemic, but the overall cross-border e-commerce market is still on the rise. In 2020, the number of overseas online shopping users in China reached 158 million, and the market value of imported cross-border e-commerce is expected to exceed 3 trillion yuan in 2021. So, the "Hong Kong Products - A New Start" was held. "Hong Kong Products - A New Start 2021" was held for three major missions:
1. Promote the development of new retail: through web celebrity live-streaming and new retail sales model of e-commerce, deliver high-quality products from Hong Kong and overseas to citizens safely and reliably through cross-border e-commerce to stimulate the development of the retail economy in the Greater Bay Area.
2. Develop talent training: through professional web celebrity training courses and resource distribution, incubate young people in Hong Kong to become live streaming hosts and thus promote employment in Hong Kong and Mainland.
3. Promote cultural exchanges in the Greater Bay Area: publicize the development momentum of the Greater Bay Area through programs such as Mainland and Hong Kong corporate brands and profiles, to show the

The chairman of Hong Kong Cyberport, Dr. Lam Ka-lee (Lin Jiali), said consumer confidence in the Greater Bay Area was strong. In a survey of consumption in the Greater Bay Area conducted last year, nearly 80 per cent of consumers living there said they expected to spend more in the next three years. Therefore, in the foreseeable future, we can also foresee that e-commerce companies in Hong Kong, the Mainland and even the world will do their best to attract the attention of consumers in the Greater Bay Area and seize the market.
